A store-within-a-store concept is planned at the former site of the CVS Pharmacy in El Dorado Hills.
The arrival of Ace Hardware and Emigh’s Outdoor Living is much welcomed because the space at the Market Place at Town Center has been without a tenant for several years.
Ace Hardware will occupy about 12,000 square feet and the Emigh’s Outdoor Living will cover nearly 6,500 square feet once they open later this spring. A name for the joint venture will be announced at a later time.
Developers plan to spend about $1 million to get the project off the ground.
The family-owned Emigh’s Ace Hardware, which will have two locations in El Dorado Hills, is part of the popular Ace Hardware brand. Based in Illinois, Ace Hardware has plenty of locations in Northern California and beyond. At least one more is planned for the Sacramento area in the coming months.
The duo stores will offer resident a place to shop for home improvement supplies and outdoor living goods.
Known as the helpful place, Ace Hardware will also provide customer services, such as key making and locking.
Ace Hardware is stocked with home improvement and living goods in a large range of categories, including grills, smokers, lawn, garden, tools, paint, supplies, heating and cooling, hardware storage, home organization, décor, lighting, electric, plumbing, automotive and more.
With spring just around the corner, customers of Emigh’s Outdoor Living will find spectacular patio and outdoor dining sets. Other outdoor goods include barbeque setups, umbrellas and all the accessories you need to enjoy outdoor living. The store carries a number of manufacturers and commercial inventories.
In Sacramento, Emigh’s Outdoor Living operates next to another Ace Hardware. So the duo is a known winning combination, offering customers everything they need for both inside and outside of their home.
